If her name is not long and confusing enough, there's still enough left from this 20 something year old heiress to boggle your mind. She's like Martha Stewart for the new Millennium, except a lot more sexier. I am not talking tucked and plucked pretty, she just has real natural goddess status.
Most people might not know who she is, well, she's well known in Spain, but if you live in the US, she's not that big of a deal.

A little History
Alessandra was in several commercials in Spain, France, and Ireland as a child. Alessandra also wore out the beauty pageant circuit in Spain from a very early age. As a teenager Alessandra modeled, and stared in a few films including En Brazos de la Mujer Madura, staring Faye Dunaway, and Alessandra's then fiance Juan Diego Botto. Alessandra is not a darling in the Hispanic media in the US, Alessandra has often voiced her opinion on racist topics such as Hispanic/Latinos vs Spaniards, which has left a bad taste in the mouth of Latin Americans in general. Alessandra is not a racist, but she has made it clear that Latin American,Hispanic culture, and race are in no way the same as Spanish and race.
Alessandra is also known for her ever changing "look" occasionally trading in her crimson locks for a dramatically different color.
Despite hovering between 130 and 150 lbs Alessandra has become somewhat of an icon in the world of European high fashion, signing a multi-million dollar contract with Chanel's European division in late 2005 which expires in 2010.
Ms. Streignard is not only a beautiful face with the body of a curvy goddess, she's also an amazing singer, a voice actress, and a doting mother. Alessandra has put out two albums, Red Love, and Descarada(aka shameless woman). Though, Alessandra's career is hectic, she does take a few months of every year to rest due to her battle with leukemia. In 2004 Alessandra did attempt a bone marrow transplant, but Alessandra's body rejected the graft, causing her to go onto medication to control the cancer cells in her body. Alessandra's predicament is like so many others, she has a rare genetic make up due to her ethnic background, so it's difficult to find a donor.
That's why Alessandra is our profile for January 2007, not because she's beautiful, or rich, but because she's a mother and survivor, who just happens to spend part of her life in the public eye.
Alessandra is also the great niece of on screen legend, Rita Hayworth.
