Juan Diego Botto in talks with Zip films to star in Anarchist's wife
Thursday, February 22, 2007
Spanish actor Juan Diego Botto is in talks to star. Film also toplines Germany's Nina Hoss and France's Jean-Marc Barr.
A directorial two-hander from Partizan owner Peter Sehr and Marino Noelle, "Wife" plays off the experiences of Noelle's grandparents. An anarchist, his grandfather fought in Madrid against Francisco Franco's Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War. He was deported to a concentration camp, then fought for the French resistance. His wife, with two small children, never gave up hope of seeing him again, however.
Pic will shoot in Spain, France and Germany, rolling in the spring. Budget is just north of E5 million ($6.5 million). It received $500,000 in funding from Bavaria's FFF Bayern last May and has further support from the NRW film fund in Germany, France's Rhones-Alpes fund, broadcaster Arte and the French-German co-production fund.
"Anarchist's Wife" broadens the range of productions at Jordi Rediu and Norbert Llaras' Zip, which has made its name as one of Barcelona's edgier young shingles thanks to Jo Sol's "The Taxi Thief" and Thomas Dunn's serial killer thriller "The Ungodly," with Wes Bentley.

Reason for the Violence
San Caetano, Galicia Spain September 19th 2006. In an amazing sad turn of events today X-Beauty Pageant Socialite/Entertainer was shot in the chest today in San Caetano in Galicia Spain while visiting her sister in rehab.
Alessandra was shot on a heavily populated street, witnesses say that an old man, now identified as 69 year old Murcio Telen spotted Alessandra as she was walking out of a coffee shop. This was not a random attack, authorities believe that Murcio shot Alessandra in the chest because of the symbol on her forehead, the symbol that several women in Galicia have, but rarely talk about, this symbol goes all the way back to before Catholicism/Christianity dominated Europe. The symbol was a crescent moon and symbolizes the goddess, normally in public women cover up this marking/religious tattoo with light make up, and are in no way to be photographed with it exposed, not because of male oppression like in the middle East, but because these women believe this tattoo to be sacred. The marking is actually very modest, and just features the outline of the crescent moon, no color. Usually Catholics/Christians don't care about Celtic women having the tattoo since Christians borrowed or "stole" the crescent moon early on from the Celts, and turned it into a symbol for the Virgin Mary(aka the Virgin Goddess Diana) only used in ART. It's obvious that Alessandra's shooter was obsessed with the women who had these symbols, and believed these women were evil, which if you ask any Catholic priest, is far from the truth. "Followers of the Goddess" have been living harmoniously along with Catholics since the 12 Century. Apart from that, these women(and men) have integrated Catholicism into their primary religion, and view Jesus Christ as a deity(god), and even attend Catholic church on a regular basis. Just like Jews, Followers of the goddess believe in Jesus, but don't believe he's their savior.
Villarreal O'Naughten Kirsh told Telcinco in Madrid:
We're just hurt and angered, how could someone do this to another human being
because of of a symbolic tattoo, which most of the women in our family have. The
only thing I am relieved about is that Alessandra did not take her children with
her, she usually takes her children everywhere with her, but before she left for
Brazil, she developed a stomach virus and decided to leave them at home in Buffalo(a city in the state of New York in the US). If she
had taken the children with her, that bastard would have probably shot all four
of them.

Anna Nicole Smith's Will, Body, and Baby
Friday, February 16, 2007
Well, the blond beauty is still in the news thanks to her circus of white trash/greedy Jewish associates, but this circus gets even stranger.
I'm only going to use some highlights from the past stories, because, there's too much junk
-Everyone went to court to argue over Anna Nicole Smith's body
-Anna Nicole Smith's body has been imbombed
-The paternity test is just around the corner,(and who knows, maybe none of the 4 men claiming to be the father won't be?)
-Howard K Stern still looks as crazy as ever.
I liked Anna Nicole as an entertainer, I thought she was fun and bubbly, but the greatest achievement that was ever on her list was probably sucking 1/2 a billion dollars out of a nearly 100 year old man.

HBO is in talks with several Movie, Film, and Telivison distribution companies
Friday, February 9, 2007
The past few weeks several stories have broke about HBO teaming up with several different European Spanish programming outlets to create HBO España, with authentic European Spanish television shows and movies.
The details are not clear or set in stone yet, but this marks the first ever transaction between a major American mainstream distributor and Euro-Spanish based programing that does not include news or sports-news.
The one last thing that was confirmed is HBO España shows and movies will probably contain subtitles due to the fact that most American spanish speakers don't understand the dialect, accents, or pronunciation of European Spanish. Also, this move will help attract non Spanish speakers too.

Couple Chart for Blackmail against Alejandro Sanz
Carlos Gonzalez, 36, worked at Sanz's home in an exclusive Miami Beach neighborhood maintaining the premises and boats docked there, according to an arrest affidavit. He and his wife, 47-year-old Sylvia Helena Alzate, were also allowed to live in the home.
But according to Miami-Dade County investigators, Gonzalez in November 2006 quit his job and stole a laptop computer, videos and photographs that belonged to Sanz or his company, Gazul Productions.
"Gonzalez made it clear that in addition to money he wished to do damage" to Sanz, who was born in Spain as Alejandro Sanchez Pizarro, according to the affidavit by an investigator with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office.
Sanz, who has won both Grammy and Latin Grammy awards, is one of the most popular Spanish singers of all time, known for romantic, flamenco-inspired pop ballads and emotion-laden lyrics. He recently appeared on a duet, "La Tortura," with Colombian superstar Shakira.
The documents don't say what information Gonzalez claimed to have. But about a week after that phone call, Sanz issued a press release acknowledging that he has a 3-year-old son, Alexander, from a previously undisclosed relationship.
Sanz's publicist in California declined further comment Wednesday.
After Ramirez contacted prosecutors, a monitored telephone call was set up in which Gonzalez said he and his wife "are working their hardest to create a scandal and destroy Sanchez Pizarro," according to the affidavit.
Ramirez also claimed that Gonzalez registered in his own name a 2006 Renegade power boat costing $85,000 and a 2005 Yamaha jet ski worth more than $12,000 that were bought for Sanz's use.
Lonnie Richardson, attorney for the accused couple, would not comment. Both have pleaded not guilty and are free on bail, with trial scheduled for Feb. 20.

The Death of Anna Nicole 1967-2007
It was just such an expected and unexpected event that will shape things to come..
Anna Nicole was obviously a hurt and confused woman who was influenced by money hungry idiots who did not give a damn about her or her 20 year old son.
I just hope that in he future people can learn more from this by treating people with a little more dignity and respect.

Penelope Cruz nominated for Oscar
Thursday, February 8, 2007
Chew on this: Clint Eastwood, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Will Smith and Penelope Cruz were just some of the 140 nominees chowing down Monday at the 26th annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon.
There were luminaries all around the International ballroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
"There are no power tables in this room," academy president Sid Ganis told the crowd, noting the luncheon’s "relentlessly democratic" seating process. "This is a power room."
The contenders for the 79th Academy Awards celebrated their elite status together — cinematographers and costume designers, screenwriters and song writers, art directors and actors. They drank wine, broke bread, collected their nominee certificates and posed for the annual "class photo," all the honorees, side by side.
"Here in this room, all the nominees are equal," Ganis said.
Everyone congratulated each other as they stood on risers for the class picture and cheered loudly as each one’s name was called.
Double-nominee Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu, director and producer of best-picture nominee Babel, snapped photos of his colleagues with a pocket-sized digital camera. DiCaprio smiled with Scorsese as Melissa Etheridge talked with Spielberg. Peter O’Toole looked pleased, sitting happily in the front row with his arms around Cruz and former Paramount chief Sherry Lansing, who will receive the academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
Helen Mirren chatted with Abigail Breslin, the 10-year-old star of Little Miss Sunshine, who was so small in her chair that her cowboy boots didn’t touch the floor. Eddie Murphy, who left the luncheon before the main course was served, offered a modest bow when applause erupted after his name was called. Scorsese and O’Toole also enjoyed standing ovations.
Smith would have won a competition for class cheerleader. He whooped and hollered for each nominee. When his own name was called, he high-fived everyone within a three-metre radius, then hopped onto the stage and enveloped Ganis in a huge hug.
Of course, there will be a winner for every category on show night, Feb. 25, and telecast producer Laura Ziskin had a message for them: leave the list of names at home.
Ziskin was giving a speech on stage when the page of notes she was holding suddenly burst into flames.
"If you bring paper onstage at the Oscars, you will be playing with fire," she quipped.
In addition to their certificates and official Oscar sweat shirts, the nominees were given tape recorders — each with a 45-second tape — to practise their acceptance speeches, Ziskin pointed out.
This day, though, was about enjoying the nomination and not worrying about who might win.
Sound mixer Kevin O’Connell celebrated his unique achievement: 19 nominations, no wins.
"It’s a record," he said, giving two thumbs up.

Alessandra Rubi Streignard Villarreal! We Love Her Hate Her & Want to Be Her
Wednesday, January 24, 2007
Most people might not know who she is, well, she's well known in Spain, but if you live in the US, she's not that big of a deal.
Why I am mentioning her in our very first blog is because, despite being born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and every single orifice of her body, she's very talented, a great mother, and down to earth.
